We Are in This Together

We are in this together.  God says to us, "you're too important to be left alone!"

We are a people of Christian Unity, and find that unity in being a People of the Table.

Some faith community's find their identity and purpose in "belief statements" or doctrines;  We find our identity, our purpose, and our unity in Christ.  We may differ on theological and social issues, but we are committed to each other and to God.  That commitment is solidified in our Good Confession.  It is renewed at the Lord's Supper.

This is our Good Confession:

As members of the Christian Church,
We confess that Jesus is the Christ,
the Son of the living God,
and proclaim him Lord and Savior of the world.
– The Preamble to The Design of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ)

We are Disciples of Christ, a movement for wholeness in a fragmented world.
As part of the one body of Christ, we welcome all to the Lord’s Table as God has welcomed us.

Our mission is to be and to share the Good News of Jesus Christ, witnessing, loving and serving from our doorsteps “to the ends of the earth.”
– Acts 1:8

Our vision is to be a faithful, growing church, that demonstrates true community, deep Christian spirituality and a passion for justice.
– Micah 6:8

Feel free to contact our Pastor to talk more about who we are and how we live out our faith.
